Simple Present Tense
The meaning is simple simple, while
the present is now. So to say that the Simple Present is tenses (sentence
patterns) used to tell the current time in a simple form. Present are names other
than FORM 1.
Here's the function of the Simple Present Tense:
a. Permanent Fact: sentences stating the fact that is always valid / correct
Example: Batang River is in Jambi.
b. The fact now: sentences stating the correct facts at the present time.
Example: I am at home.
c. Habitual action
Example: Anita goes to her office every morning.
If we look at the examples above, there is a sentence that uses the verb "be" and some are not. This is because the simple present tense can be made in the form and in the form of verbal nomial.

When wearing the
Simple Present Tense verb "be" means the form of nominal sentence, if
not use the verb "be" instead using "verb" (such as go,
eat, run, study, etc.) means verbal form.
Examples of verbal sentences in Simple Present Tense:
I go to Jakarta twice a week.
My mother cooks every morning.
John plays games every morning.
The boy likes juice.
All the above sentences
using verbs and
sentences are called verbal. Therefore, it does
not need the added verb "be", because
the sentences already has a verb.

They are clever.

Am I handsome? Yes, you are/ No, you are not.
